Gonzo Vino
Like so many great ideas, Gonzo Vino started poolside.The solution: a tonne of premium pinot noir grapes and a mind-blowing homemade rose. After some missteps on packaging, some ancient ’60s wisdom was channelled and they reinvented the wine pillow (which handily doubles as a floaty pillow, once empty).
Abunotsuru
The MIYOSHI brand is the sake of Abunotsuru brewery, which was founded in 1915. The brewery is located in the Nago district, looking out over the Sea of Japan, amid the beautiful sea and abundant greenery of Abu village in Yamaguchi prefecture.
Yamada Shoten
Yamada Shoten is one of the smallest breweries in Japan, but makes up for it with an abundance of passion. They follow the motto “Mukashi no Manma”, which translates to “the way it used to be, unchanged.”
