October carries six internationally recognised wine observance days, and we're celebrating these days with something we think everyone should try!

October 5: Vranec World Day (celebrating the dark-skinned grape from North Macedonia and Montenegro).

October 6: National Orange Wine Day (celebrating skin-contact amber white wines).

Second Saturday in October: International Pinotage Day (celebrating South Africa's signature Pinot Noir-Cinsault cross).

Fourth Friday in October (October 23, 2026): World Champagne Day (celebrating sparkling wine from France).

October 26: International Mavrud Day (celebrating the Bulgarian red wine grape).

Last Thursday in October: International Carignan Day (celebrating the Mediterranean red grape variety).
