Alpine air in a glass — where ancient Savoyard grapes meet vertiginous slopes and glacial freshness.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of approximately 48% Jacquère, 41% Chardonnay, 8% Mondeuse Blanche, and 3% Roussanne, produced under the IGP Vin des Allobroges designation in Savoie, France. The Argile cuvée comes from vineyards on the hillside of Saint-Pierre-de-Soucy, on clay soils composed of schistose marl and hard black schist, with west-facing slopes. Biodynamic viticulture is practised with rigour, with horse-drawn ploughing used on the steepest terraces
Taste Profile: Delicate and refined, the Argile Blanc offers a bouquet of white fruit — peach and pear — accompanied by lovely minerality. Crystalline and full of charm, the schist-rich marl terroir lends it a beautiful salinity on the finish. Weight and tension are in perfect balance, with pure fruit and an intensely mineral, smoky-saline character. Refreshing acidity is lifted by notes of citrus fruit and pine resin
Winemaking Process: Grapes are gently pressed, then fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged on fine lees in vats and old oak foudres, before being bottled without fining or filtration. The wine is fermented and aged in fibreglass vats for nine months, and bottled with less than 20mg/l of added sulphur. The minimally interventionist approach allows the unique terroir of Saint-Pierre-de-Soucy to speak clearly in the glass

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
