Graham’s 10 Year Old Tawny NV
Left our palates feeling all tingly — Graham’s Master Blender’s own take on a decade-aged Tawny.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca and Sousão, grown in the Douro Valley, Portugal — the same fortified-wine heartland the Symington family has worked since the 19th century.
Taste Profile: Deep golden-amber colour. A complex nose of nutty aromas with hints of orange peel, cinnamon, raisins, honey and fig. Rich fruit and caramelised nut flavours emerge on the palate, mellowed by a decade in wood, with a lusciously long finish — the younger style of aged Tawny preserving some of the grapes’ ripe fruit and tannin alongside the complexity a decade of oak brings.
Winemaking Process: Hand-picked grapes ferment naturally between 26–30°C; once the must reaches the desired sweetness, usually within 48 hours, fortification with 77% ABV grape spirit halts fermentation. Matured for 10 years in seasoned oak casks — Graham’s Master Blender’s own interpretation of a fine, wood-aged Tawny.
Winemaker: Graham’s was founded in 1820 by brothers William and John Graham. In 1882, Andrew James Symington sailed from Scotland to Porto to work for the Graham family, beginning an association that would define the house’s future: in 1970 the Symington family bought W. & J. Graham’s outright, and it remains part of Symington Family Estates today — the largest vineyard holder in the Douro.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
