Wine Guide — Varietal
Semillon
Semillon originates from France, and is it's third most planted white wine variety behind Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc. It's a key blending grape to make White Bordeaux, and thus is not really seen in the spotlight often, and can hardly be found as a single varietal wine. Even so, this golden grape produces a wide range of flavors,
Chenin Blanc
Also known as the "refined" Sauvignon Blanc, it's hard not to love Chenin Blanc for it's versatility. You can find oak aged styles similar to Chardonnay, as well as light & crsip styles closer to Sauvignon Blanc.
Riesling
Riesling is commonly known as a sweet aromatic while, but it is actually modernly produced in a variety of styles from bone-dry to very sweet. It has emerged as one of the most collectible white wines in the world, with Germany being the world’s most important producer of Riesling.
