Juhfark, Somló's ancient volcanic white, given the full oak-aged, take-it-seriously treatment.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Juhfark, Somló's signature grape and one of Hungary's oldest documented varieties, grown on volcanic basalt soils that give the region's whites their distinctive smoky, mineral edge.
Taste Profile: Ripe apricot, apple and pear sit over creamy oak tones, toasted nuts and a touch of struck-match smokiness, finishing with honeyed richness and a long, mineral-driven persistence — full-bodied and built for the table rather than the aperitif hour.
Winemaking Process: Fermented and matured in oak, building the creamy, toasted character that distinguishes this bottling from Tornai's fresher, stainless-steel-only wines.
Winemaker: The Tornai family has farmed Somló's volcanic slopes for three generations, and this Prime bottling is their case for Juhfark as a serious, age-worthy white rather than a regional curiosity.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
