Eleni et Edouard Vocoret Chablis “Les Pargues” 2020

Eleni et Edouard Vocoret Chablis “Les Pargues” is rich and creamy, yet zesty at the same time. Full-bodied and dry palate with flavours of lemon peel, lime leaf and a crushed rock mineral backbone.

100% Chardonnay. The fruit for this wine comes from a site in an excellent spot between Montmains and Vosgros, on an identical slope on grey marl soil. Next to La Foret, Les Pargues is one of the southern most Chablis vineyards.

Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. Ages for 1 year in neutral barrels, then 2–3 months in tank for assemblage.

Ageing potential: 6–8 years from vintage.
