Cota 45 UBE Miraflores 2022
The name Cota 45 refers to the altitude of 45 meters above sea level where the best albariza soils are found, the legendary limestone soil typical of the Jerez region
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Palomino from Andalucia, Spain. The vines average 80-90 years old, and are planted on Albariza chalk soils
The Miraflores comes from five different plots in Miraflores Alta (3) and Miraflores Baja (2)
It comes from the Marco de Jerez appellation, where winemaker Ramiro Ibanez is a native. He wanted to make unfortified table wine from old Palomino vines, just like the Jerezanos of the 19th Century favored
Taste Profile: This cuvée is made from old Palomino vines, in a style similar to Sherry, favoring fine and delicate oxidative aromas with hints of walnut, pear, citrus, and spice
Winemaking Process: Pressed whole-cluster into barrel for spontaneous fermentation. The wine continues to age for 8 months, of which 4 months were under flor

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
