Le P'tit Domaine Saumur Champigny Les Bonneveaux 2018
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Cabernet France from the Loire Valley in France. The fruit comes from vines with an average age of 45 years, Les Bonnevaux (without the e) is one of the best terroirs in the Saumur-Champigny appellation. Located in the commune of Varrains, it is very close (geographically and geologically) to the now world-renowned Les Poyeux
Taste Profile: A perfect balance between deep richness and unmistakable elegance. Richard's knowledge of the famed wines of Clos Rougeard is on full display, with a wine brimming with layers of morello cherry, wild blackberry, smoked earth, and savoury, sanguine, gourmand elements of mushrooms and truffles. Structurally, the wine shows a full, soft texture with a corset of lacy tannins and brisk acidity, suggesting a long ageing potential.
WInemaking Process: Manual harvest, complete destemming, fermentation in stainless steel, malolactic fermentation carried out; indigenous yeasts; 18 months in barriques between the 3rd and 5th passage (purchased from Clos Rougeard).

Richard Desouche, the current vineyard manager of Clos Rougeard, found his vocation as a winemaker by creating his "P'tit Domaine" in 2006 in the little village of Dampierre sur Loire, expanding it to about 2 hectares in 2016

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
