Eastern Peake Intrinsic Chardonnay 2023
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay. It comes from Eastern Peake, a high-altitude (430m) vineyard in Coghills Creek, Victoria, planted on volcanic soils.
Taste Profile: Pure, mineral-driven, textured, with a balance of freshness and depth. Aromas of citrus oil, white peach, crushed stone, flint, almond meal, with underlying nutty and savoury notes. On the palate, it is taut, finely textured, chalky, with a saline edge and powerful acidity
Winemaking Process: The fruit was whole-bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in 300L hogsheads sourced from both Siruge (French) and Stockinger (Austrian) cooperages. During élevage, the wine remained on full solids without racking or any lees stirring, allowing natural texture and complexity to build. It completed full natural malolactic fermentation unassisted, received only a small sulphur addition post-malo, and was racked to stainless steel for a second winter to settle and harmonise before estate bottling

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
