Noble and chic, it leaves a crushing impression.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from plots within the Vosne-Romanée village appellation, Côte de Nuits, Burgundy, France.
Taste Profile: Brilliant ruby red colour with bright reflections. Diverse aromas of wild cherry, nutmeg and fine leather roll off the glass in waves, with a subtle hint of truffle emerging on the tail end. Still young and somewhat closed, it's already making a crushing impression — soft and super juicy with lots of energy. The medium-bodied palate carries a sturdy, fleshy body and a perfect balance of elegant tannins and vibrant acidity, with cherry and red fruit flavours dominating alongside vanilla, cinnamon, truffle, cedarwood and maybe even a floral lilac memory, closing in a powerful, long aftertaste. Cellar until 2028.
Winemaking Process: Manually harvested with parcel-by-parcel ripeness monitoring and grape sorting. Traditional fermentation for 15 days in stainless steel, with pumping-over twice daily until the end of fermentation. Ages 12 months in Burgundy oak, 25% new, unfiltered before bottling.
Winemaker: Arnaud Baillot only started making wine under his own name in 2015, alongside his wife Laure — granddaughter of the Hudelot-Noëllat family of Chambolle-Musigny — after finishing his oenology studies in 2013. The pair built up their nine-hectare estate parcel by parcel through the Côte de Beaune and beyond, and Arnaud works with no stems, minimal new oak and a deliberately hands-off approach, trusting Burgundy's terroir to do most of the talking.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
