Vingården i Klagshamn "Vega" Rondo NV
Named after the owner's previous dog — proof that not every wine needs a serious backstory to be worth drinking.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Rondo from Gotland County, Sweden.
Taste Profile: A light and fruity red made with Rondo. Nuanced and developed, with a very fresh taste carrying hints of red apple, orange, nuts, dried apricot and spice. Best served at 10 to 12°C with fish or chicken.
Winemaking Process: Made in a Claret style, meaning light extraction and blending with white pressed juice. Matured for 11 months in used American oak barrels.
Winemaker: Jesper Friberg works out of Vingården i Klagshamn, on Sweden's Skåne coast near Malmö, where he makes a small range of natural wines — Urskog, Strandäng, Myrmark and Fjälltopp among them — largely from Solaris, Cabernet Cortis and Rondo, the cold-hardy hybrid grapes that actually survive Swedish winters. He learned his craft abroad, including a stint with Éric Pfifferling in Tavel, before coming home to build his own small, philosophy-driven corner of the vineyard.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
