Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Rondo from Gotland County, Sweden.
Taste Profile: A light and fruity red wine made with Rondo. Nuanced, developed, very fresh taste with hints of red apples, orange, nuts, dried apricots and spices. Served at 10-12°C with fish or chicken dishes
Winemaking Process: Done in a Claret style, which means light extraction & blending with white pressed juice. Matured in used American oak barrels 11 months in oak
Easy drinking red wines with bright fruit aromas and low tannins. The wines are often released without much aging in tank, oak barrels or bottle, and are meant to be drunk early
These wines typically can be nejoyed without food, and are usually served cooler. They can be light bodied wines like Beaujolais, or light extraction styles that do not emphasize tannin & color extraction
