Bauget-Jouette Champagne Brut "Carte Blanche" NV
The most representative cuvée from a Champagne house that's stayed in the same family for five generations.
Grape Varietals & Region: 60% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Meunier and 10% Pinot Noir, with 40% reserve wines blended in. Fruit comes from the south-facing slopes around Épernay and Sézanne: Chardonnay from Mancy and the Sézannais, Pinot Meunier from the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay, bringing fruitiness and elegance together.
Taste Profile: Blond, straw-gold in the glass. Opens with a fresh, light nose of apple, pear and peach; rich on the palate, with a tangy sweetness matching those aromas and emerging hints of almond.
Winemaking Process: Vinified in Épernay, the capital of Champagne, at the Bauget-Jouette cellars, then rested at a constant 11°C in cellars dug in the 18th century, 27 metres deep in the chalk.
Winemaker: Founded in 1822, Maison Bauget-Jouette has stayed in family hands for five generations; the modern house took shape in the 1950s under Gaston Bauget and his wife Suzanne, née Jouette, whose family had cultivated Champagne vines for nearly two centuries. Nicolas Bauget now leads the maison from Épernay, working 13 hectares spread across nine classified villages in the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay, Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne and Sézannais.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
