A single-vineyard wine from the oldest Grand Cru site in Tokaj, made by one of Hungary's most experienced dry Tokaj winemakers.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Hárslevelű from the Szerelmi vineyard on the southern side of Tokaj Hill — an old-growth, loess-soil site at 170 metres altitude, first documented as a 1st Class Vineyard in 1798.
Taste Profile: Opens with a nose of honey and flowers. The dense palate is dry, creamy and lively all at once, with juicy flavours of sweet peaches, ripe pear, minerals and vanilla on the long finish.
Winemaking Process: Fermentation and maturation take place in the cellar of a historic house built in 1790 in the town of Tokaj.
Winemaker: Zoltán Demeter has been part of the Tokaj-Hegyalja winemaking scene since 1993, training partly at Budapest's University of Horticulture and partly in Napa, Beaune, France and Great Britain. He later helped establish Kiralyudvar alongside István Szepsy before founding his own winery in 1996 to help rediscover and champion Tokaj's dry-wine terroir. He now farms parcels including Szerelmi across five settlements, and in 2013 became the first winemaker in Tokaj to receive a champagne-making licence.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
