Naude Wines Werfdans Cinsault 2017

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Cinsault from Darling in the Western Cape. The vines were planted in 1968 on decomposed sandstone.

Taste Profile: Fragrant and elegant, showing the classic Cape Cinsault characteristics of red berries and Turkish Delight

Winemaking Process: A combination of whole bunch, destemmed grapes and stems go into a stainlesssteel tank and left until natural fermentation starts. One to two soft pump overs per day and left for roughly 2 weeks, pressed and wine transferred into older 225L French oak barrels (minimum oxidation during theprocess). Barrel aging commences for 12 – 15 months
