Domaine Camus Père & Fils Gevrey-Chambertin 2019
A family that's grown vines in Gevrey-Chambertin since 1832 still farms two-thirds of its estate as Grand Cru.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from the domaine's 18 hectares of vineyards, two-thirds Grand Cru and one-third Village, including parcels in Chambertin, Charmes-Chambertin, Latricières-Chambertin and Mazoyères-Chambertin. The vines are farmed biodynamically in clay-limestone soils under Gevrey-Chambertin's semi-continental climate.
Taste Profile: A grand appearance, with deer-red colour and brown highlights. The nose offers pure aromas of cherry and strawberry, while the silky palate carries mild tannin and real structure.
Winemaking Process: Hand-picked fruit, vinified using old-school traditional methods, then aged 14–18 months in oak barrels. No filtering before bottling, so sediment is common in these flavourful wines.
Winemaker: The Camus family has been producing wine in Gevrey-Chambertin since 1832, though it only became their primary focus in the 1900s; they've owned the current estate since the 1930s. Hubert Camus, born in 1937, joined the domaine full-time after military service and took over from his father in 1974, going on to become founding president of the BIVB (Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne) and serving three terms in that role — a testament to how central the Camus name has become to Burgundy's collective institutions, not just its own vineyards.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
