Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Blaufrankisch from Eisenberg in southern Burgenland, Austria. The fruit is grown on slate, clay & rocky brown gravel. 

Taste Profile: Youthful, light red color, with a bright nose of citrus & light berries, sour cherry on the palate, lively drinking flow, refreshing acidity on the palate, long-lasting finish with elegant style, mineral with herbs. The slate soil and primary rock on the Eisenberg give the wine minerality and elegance.

Winemaking Process: Blaufränkisch on Welschriesling mash. The wine ferments in 500-liter wooden barrels. After fermentation, it ages on the lees for 6-8 months before being bottled while still fruity and fresh
