An easygoing Bikavér built for bistro tables, not cellar books — proof the "Bull's Blood" blend doesn't need to be heavy to be serious.
Grape Varietals & Region: A Szekszárdi Bikavér blend led by Kékfrankos, with Merlot, Cabernet, a touch of old-vine Kadarka and a splash of Syrah, grown across the Vida family's vineyards in Szekszárd, southern Hungary.
Taste Profile: Ripe red fruits and soft spice over a gentle, food-friendly structure — dangerously drinkable rather than brooding, with none of the heavy oak that historically weighed the style down.
Winemaking Process: Aged across a blend of stainless steel and classic large-format oak barrels, keeping the wine's fruit and drinkability front and centre rather than layering on new wood.
Winemaker: Vida Péter is one of Szekszárd's leading family producers, and Idyll is his everyday Bikavér — made with no tricks, just a straightforward, well-balanced blend from one of the region's most thoughtful winemaking families.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
