Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Kékfrankos (Blaufränkisch) from the Hidaspetre vineyard in Szekszárd, southern Hungary — a single site the Vida family has singled out as capable of the region's most refined expression of the grape.
Taste Profile: Strawberry, sour cherry and violet with touches of tobacco, cocoa and clove, framed by fine, subtly firm tannins and lively acidity that carry through to a long, polished finish — restrained and structural rather than jammy.
Winemaking Process: Fermented and matured with a level of care that shows through in the wine's silky delicacy and refined tannin structure, prioritising precision over power at every stage.
Winemaker: Vida Péter is one of Szekszárd's leading family producers, and Hidaspetre is his single-vineyard argument that Kékfrankos deserves the same serious treatment as any of Central Europe's more fashionable reds.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
