After 28 days of fermentation and three days of slow pressing, Isao Uehara adds a little mash back into the mix to create this cloudy version of his flagship Furosen brews.
What you can expect:
Mild fizziness when freshly opened. Aroma of fresh ferment, sweet and ricey, balanced with gentle acidity. Medium bodied with pleasing bitterness that cuts through the richness.

Uehara Shuzo was founded in 1862 and is located in Takashima on the North-western side of Lake Biwa. The current 7th brewery owner is Isao Uehara. One of the few to use wooden casks for fermentation, as well as the pressing technique ‘Tenbin Shibori’

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
