Tikveš Bela Voda 2021
A blend of two indigenous Macedonian reds that share their latitude with Tuscany, Bordeaux and Napa.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 70% Vranec and 30% Plavec Mali, grown in the clay soils of Bela Voda within the Tikveš sub-region of North Macedonia's Povardarie wine region, where a mixed Continental-Mediterranean climate and mountain-shielded vineyards suit both varieties.
Taste Profile: Deep ruby red, with classy aromas and flavours of crème de cassis, liquorice, graphite and floral nuances. A full body with an elegant, focused palate and hints of sweet fruit, backed by solid concentration, ripe tannins and impressive length.
Winemaking Process: Manually harvested into 20kg crates, chilled in a cooling room to 6-7°C in concrete vats. Cold macerated at 8°C for 2 days, then skin macerated for 21 days at an average fermentation temperature of 26-28°C. Aged in new French barrique barrels for 15 months, developing aromas of black fruit and cocoa alongside smooth tannins.
Winemaker: Tikveš Winery has anchored the Tikveš sub-region's wine production for generations, drawing on a mixed Continental-Mediterranean climate and mountain-shielded vineyards to grow both native and international varieties, continuing North Macedonia's centuries-old winemaking tradition along the Vardar River valley.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
