Description
Tenuta di Carleone Pianvecchio IGT Bianco 2020
Tenuta di Carleone Pianvecchio is an unadorned, elegant and very concise Tuscan white wine. Reductive nose that slowly blooms into a bouquet of dark yellow fruits and a hint of smoke. Direct, frank and mineral on the palate with a crunchy acidity. Juicy apricot, pineapple and zesty citrus flavours mingle around a mineral backbone. Closes in a long and alpine fresh finish.
Ageing potential: Keep until 2026!
Blend of Riesling, Trebbiano and Gewurtztraminer. The fruit comes from various small plots of vineyards in Radda, Chianti. Some of the vines are planted next to traditional Tuscan farmhouses called “pian vecchio” from which this wine gets its name.
Ages in stainless steel. No filtering or fining before bottling.
