Sauska's everyday argument for dry Furmint — volcanic, tense and built to be opened on a Tuesday rather than saved for a decade.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Furmint, hand-harvested from multiple parcels across Sauska's Tokaj vineyards, where volcanic soils push the grape toward mineral drive rather than the region's more famous botrytis sweetness.
Taste Profile: Ripe peach, candied lemon and quince aromatics over a lively, medium-bodied palate with juicy acidity and a zesty, faintly phenolic grip; layers of citrus zest and orchard fruit sit over a backbone of volcanic minerality.
Winemaking Process: Grapes are soaked on their skins for around six hours before pressing, then fermented in stainless steel for seven months and matured further on lees before bottling — enough contact to build texture without pushing the wine toward an orange-wine style.
Winemaker: Sauska is the project of Kis-Sauska Csaba, who built wineries in both Villány and Tokaj to prove Hungary could make serious wine in two totally different registers — this dry Furmint is the everyday face of that ambition.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
