Sauska Brut Pezsgő NV
A rarity in Tokaj — a proper traditional-method sparkling wine, built on Furmint instead of Chardonnay, aged for years in a limestone cellar rather than months.
Grape Varietals & Region: Furmint-led (roughly 70%), rounded out with Hárslevelű and a small amount of Chardonnay, grown across Sauska's Tokaj vineyards and matured in a traditional limestone sparkling cellar held at a constant 12–16°C.
Taste Profile: Savoury toast, red apple and honey-roasted nuts on the nose, with a creamy mousse carrying brioche, wheat biscuit, honey and apple tart on the palate — built on structure rather than fruit alone.
Winemaking Process: Made by the traditional method with roughly 25% reserve wines blended in for consistency, matured on lees for at least 18 months before disgorgement, with no oak and no malolactic fermentation to keep the fruit precise.
Winemaker: Sauska is the project of Kis-Sauska Csaba, who built wineries in both Villány and Tokaj to prove Hungary could make serious wine in two totally different registers — this Brut Pezsgő is his case for Tokaj's future being about more than sweet wine.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
