Donovan’s answer to great demand there is on his wines. After securing a deal on a sizeable 10-hectare rocky-schist Syrah vineyard in the Swartland, Donovan has bottled a portion for a new “main” Syrah in the collection

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Syrah from Swartland, South Africa

Taste Profile: A lovely sappy and fluid quality to it with notes of cherry, bramble and pepper, cool acidity, crunchy tannins and a measured feel to the palate. So easy to drink but stuffed full of character

Winemaking Process: Fermented and raised exclusively in concrete
