Domaine Moreau Naudet

Started by Roger in 1950, who came from a family of vignerons, it was helmed by his son Stephane until he passed in 2016. The Domaine is currently run by his wife Virginie, and his assistant winemaker, Coco, to continue Stephane's vision

Domaine Moreau-Naudet Chablis 2022

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay from Chablis, France. This comes from the Montmains Premier Cru site, and these vines are 20-30 years old and cultivated according to ecological principles

Taste Profile: Aromas of ripe stone fruit, citrus fruit and yellow flowers. On the palate it’s seductive, deep and vibrant. A delicious combination of the acidity of citrus notes with hints of salty minerality.

Winemaking Process: The fruit is hand harvested, followed by a gentle pressing for 4 hours, before the resulting must ferments with native yeasts. It remains on its lees to develop excellent texture, depth and quality.

Lush & Tropical Whites

Succulent stonefruit with a citrus backbone characterises these wines. Typically, they have notes of tropical fruit, and come from warmer climates. A touch of oak during the winemaking process also helps to give some softness to the wine.
