Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Cabernet Franc from Friuli Colli Orientali, Italy. The vines are of marly soils from Eocene origin.
Taste Profile: The wine has a deep ruby red, with purple shades. A frank aroma of vegetal, herbaceous & earthy scents. Fruity aromas of black cherries & wild blackberries follow, with undertones of spice. On the palate the wine has lively but pleasant tannins, with a vibrant freshness.
Winemaking Process: The fruit is hand harvested & macerates for about 15 days, before aging in stainless steel tanks for 10 months. The wine is bottled & rested for another few months before release
Powerful modern reds with the ability to age. They tend to be very intense, with ripe fruit, firm tannins & drinkability either young or cellared.
They often have notes of forest floor, blackcurrant, mint & eucalyptus
