A Bordeaux blend gone Moravian — Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from an estate better known for orange wine and pét-nat.
Grape Varietals & Region: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, a classic Bordeaux-style blend reinterpreted through Krásná Hora's organic, biodynamic vineyards in Starý Poddvorov, South Moravia. It's a slightly more "classic" cuvée than the winery's headline-grabbing orange wines and natural pét-nats, but it's farmed and made with the same hands-on, low-intervention ethos — hand-harvested, organically grown, made by a family who converted to natural winemaking after a 2015 visit to Milan Nestarec.
Taste Profile: Bright ruby red, with plum, blackcurrant and spice on the nose; on the palate it's a fruit-and-tannin mix with fresh acidity keeping things lively rather than heavy — medium-full bodied without tipping into jammy Bordeaux-blend territory. Good with roast pork, grilled sausage, or hard cheese.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested from organically farmed vines, fermented with native yeasts and minimal intervention in keeping with the rest of the Krásná Hora range — even the more "classic" varietal blends here get the same natural treatment as the orange wines.
Winemaker: The Vybíral family has farmed these vineyards organically and biodynamically for years, but it was a 2015 visit to natural wine figure Milan Nestarec that pushed the estate fully toward low-intervention winemaking across the board — Bordeaux blend included. The result was enough to earn Krásná Hora Czech Winery of the Year honours at the 2018 New York International Wine Competition.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
