Jade Gross "Corza Beoda" Rioja 2025
Jade Gross's youngest red: juicy, silky Tempranillo from one small plot, with only 1,890 bottles made.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Tempranillo from a single small plot called La Cantera in Labastida, Rioja Alavesa. The vines were planted in 1988 and grow at high altitude on clay-limestone soil. Sources differ on the Rioja sub-zone and some call it a blend, but the producer-level listing we found says 100% Tempranillo.
Taste Profile: Fruity, young and fresh, with a subtle carbonic-maceration note, a silky texture and soft, well-integrated tannins. The 2025 vintage is described as fresher, with more elegance and depth than before. 13.5% ABV. Serve slightly cool (15-17°C).
Winemaking Process: Hand-picked and hand-sorted. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in open vats, then matured for 6 months in stainless steel. Minimal intervention.
Winemaker: Jade Gross was born in Hong Kong and trained as a chef, working at El Celler de Can Roca and leading the R&D kitchen at Mugaritz, before moving to San Vicente de la Sonsierra in Rioja. With help from neighbours Abel Mendoza and Maite Fernández, she launched her label in 2019 and bought her Labastida vineyard in 2020.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
