The TesiRare is a biodynamic & minimal intervention series from Italo Cescon, focused on preserving the purity of the vine.

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Rabaso del Piave from clayey soils of Piave in Veneto, Italy

Taste Profile: This grape, which provides lots of color, structure and a fresh cherry flavor, is patiently grown in the cellars at Italo Cescon. The wine matures in wood and in amphorae, but retains the unique character of the grape. Packed with fresh red fruit, green herbs and a pleasant freshness.

Winemaking Process: Crushing, destemming and selection of non-compliant grapes
on sorting table. Cryomaceration for 6 days in amphora, followed by alcoholic fermentatoin, malolactic one in amphora with indigenous yeasts, with its own skins. Maturation for 330 days in amphora, then racked & aged for 24 months in new oak barrels, bottled unfiltered and further aged for 24 months
