Fabien Jouves Cahors La Roque 2022

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Malbec from Cahors, France. The fruit comes from vines planted in the 1990s, on miocene brown marl.

Taste Profile: Deep and full bodied, inky dark in colour with dark plum and black cherry notes with just a hint of vanilla and coffee spice. While there is lots of structure the tannins are really well managed, and the fresh acidity finishes the wine perfectly

Winemaking Process: The fruit is manually harvested, undergoing natural vinificaation, destemming & fermentation in concrete vats. It is then aged in concrete vats for 6 months
