Domaine Roux Père & Fils Puligny-Montrachet Blanc 2023
One of the most famous white wine villages on earth, from a family who live next door in Saint-Aubin.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay from Puligny-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune, the village that gave the world Montrachet and the benchmark for mineral, age-worthy white Burgundy.
Taste Profile: Pale yellow in the glass, mineral and concentrated with good acidity and a long finish, per importer notes on the 2023. Earlier vintages have shown floral notes and a touch of butter and wood. Pair with roast chicken, creamy sauces or soft cheeses.
Winemaking Process: Roux uses oak across its range, with a gradual move to larger 300 to 500L barrels. We didn't find the exact barrel regime or ratio of new oak for this wine, so we won't invent one.
Winemaker: Sébastien and Matthieu Roux run the Saint-Aubin family estate with about 70 hectares and 100+ cuvées. Puligny is one of the villages they bottle from the Côte de Beaune, part of a range that stretches from Mercurey down to Chambolle.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
