Domaine Roux Père & Fils Pouilly-Fuissé 2024
A Burgundy family best known for Saint-Aubin takes a road trip south to the Mâconnais and comes back with Pouilly-Fuissé.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay from Pouilly-Fuissé, the Mâconnais's flagship white appellation, where limestone and clay slopes under the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson give Chardonnay more sunshine and generosity than the Côte d'Or. Think riper, rounder, still fresh.
Taste Profile: We didn't find a published note for the 2024, so this is the appellation's typical register: orchard fruit, a chalky mineral edge and a creamy finish. Good with white fish, roast chicken and anything involving butter.
Winemaking Process: No cuvée-specific technical sheet was findable. The domaine generally works with oak and a gentle approach, but we're not putting specifics on this wine.
Winemaker: Sébastien and Matthieu Roux run the family estate in Saint-Aubin, with roughly 70 hectares and 100+ cuvées spanning the Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais, and about a third of production from purchased grapes.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
