Domaine Dumien-Serrette "Le Moulin" Syrah 2019
Grape Varietals & Region: 10% Syrah from young vine vineyards in northern Rhone Valley. The fruit comes mostly from vineyards across the river from Cornas, grown on rocky, alluvial soils very similar to those of Crozes-Hermitage
Taste Profile: A fruity, lively red that channels the smoky intensity of Cornas with a juicy core that characterizes the best of Crozes-Hermitage. Aromas of black and red cherries, light baking spice, earth
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested. Fermented on indigenous yeasts in tank; gently crushed by foot. Aged for approx. one year in older French oak barrels (barrels generally older than six-seven years). Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

The wines are a throw-back to a style that is found less and less today, made the old fashioned way. Now run by Nicolas Serrette, the Dumien name has been part of the Cornas history as far back as 1515, and bottled under their own name in 1983

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
