Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from Burgundy, France. Gevrey-Chambertin is located in the northernmost area of the great communes in the Cote de Nuits. The Domaine Arnaud Baillot Gevrey Chambertin wines are produced from vineyards lying on the extension of the slope on which the premier cru “Fonteny” is situated
Taste Profile: Intensely fruity on the nose. The aromas are reminiscent of black cherry, wild blackberry and liquorice. A subtle woody character that marries delicately with the other aromas. As the wine evolves, there are more complex notes such as mild spice, nutmeg, leather, mushroom and damp earth. Although present on the palate, tannin is never astringent but blends harmoniously with the natural freshness and velvety texture of the wine
Winemaking Process: Sustainable agriculture, manual harvesting with grape sorting and optimisation through parcel-by-parcel ripeness monitoring. Traditional fermentation for 15 days in stainless steel tanks. No punching (pipeage). Pumping over twice a day until the end of fermentation. Aged for 12 months in Burgundy oak (25% new oak)

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
