Another single-parcel orange from the Los Angeles range — 'Las Suertes' means 'the plots,' and this one's Michael Cooper's own patchwork of Campo de Borja fruit.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Moscatel de Alejandría. From the same Los Angeles project as Rubiana, Cruz Alta and Romeroso — single 'Paraje' bottlings from the Moncayo foothills of Campo de Borja, Aragón. 'Las Suertes' (literally 'the lots' or 'the plots') points to a parcel-driven, patchwork approach to sourcing rather than one estate block; vines are old and dry-farmed, currently in organic conversion, tended with biodynamic preparations.
Taste Profile: Deep amber colour, with a nose of intense primary aromas of white flowers, apricot and quince. Dry and refreshing on the palate, with fresh stone fruit, citrus and moscatel grape flavours and a persistent, juicy finish. The extended barrel ageing give the wine structure & depth
Winemaking Process: Made to 'Vins Méthode Nature' standards — organic, hand-harvested fruit, no inputs, zero added sulphites. The wine matured in barrels for a year before release
Winemaker: Michael Cooper, originally from Santa Barbara, California, has lived and made wine in Spain for over a decade, earning the nickname 'Vine Hunter' for his hunt across Aragón for high-altitude, old-vine, dry-farmed sites. It's in Campo de Borja that he built Los Angeles, his own project — named for the city where he studied and two grape-grower friends, both named Ángel, who gave him his start. His motto for the range: 'clean, pure, energetic.'

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
