The sophisticated sweet tooth's Champagne — lush tropical fruit, creamy pear, and the perfect partner for dessert or a celebration on its own terms.
Grape Varietals & Region: 50% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 20% Pinot Meunier from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims, Champagne, France. The grands terroirs of the Montagne de Reims are central to Champagne Palmer's wine philosophy, encompassing over 200 hectares across seven iconic crus. The two Premier Crus of Trépail and Villers-Marmery are highly reputed for their Chardonnays with citrus, mineral, and floral notes, while the Grand Crus of Verzenay and Mailly produce wines with rich aromas of red fruits, spices, and saline undertones
Taste Profile: La Réserve Demi-Sec reconnects with the tradition of the great dessert wines. A generous dosage enables it to achieve a perfect aromatic expression. The ample and creamy palate is underpinned by an elegant acidity that gives a character to the whole that is both sapid and fresh — a true explosion of fruity notes: apricot, pear, and some tropical touches of mango and caramelised pineapple, subtly enhanced by a citrusy touch of pink grapefruit. The fine mousse and vivid acidity keep the sweetness lifted and utterly non-cloying. Best served well chilled as a dessert Champagne, or alongside fruit tarts, soft cheeses, and lightly spiced cuisine
Winemaking Process: In the spirit of a perpetual, true reserve wine, this Chardonnay-dominated blend was composed of 30–35% reserve wines, which imbue it with a unique style and remarkable consistency. This cuvée was matured for three years on the lees in bottle in the 18-metre-deep chalk cellars. With a dosage of 34–35g/l, the Demi-Sec style is balanced by an elegant acidity, resulting in a fresh, harmonious style. In the spirit of a perpetual reserve, the reserve wines are composed of previous blends of La Réserve, and future reserve wines will contain part of the current blend — carrying the same threads of Champagne DNA from wine to wine, achieving both wonderful stylistic consistency and great complexity

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
