Cascina Chicco is a family-owned winery that has been producing wines in the Roero region since the early 1900s. Today, the winery is run by the fourth generation of the family, who continue to focus on producing high-quality, terroir-driven wines.
Taste Profile: The wine has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections and a complex and intense bouquet of white flowers, apple, and pear. On the palate, it is dry, fresh, and fruity with a long, mineral finish.
Winemaking Process: The grapes for this wine are harvested by hand and undergo a soft pressing followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine is left on the lees for a few months before bottling.
