Description

Bodega Cerron El Sentido de la Vida 2022

A wine that pays homage to the family's paternal grandmother and to all women in general who have worked the land with passion and have contributed to the maintenance of the vine. A wine that is fresh to drink and, at the same time, well structured, which gives meaning to all the effort that it entails.

Grape Varietals & Region: 85% Monastrell, blended with Garnacha & Syrah. El Sentido de la Vida represents part of the coldest and calcareous plots of the town of Fuente-Álamo with northern exposures that mark a more austere profile of Mediterranean flowers. In the mouth there is more depth and tension, being wines with a high capacity for aging.

Taste Profile: Concentrated red wine with aromas of candied red fruit, spicy notes and hints of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is fresh, fluid but with a marked structure. An easy drink with an impressive fruit load and a very harmonized acidity.

Winemaking Process: Harvest and selection of grapes by hand. Spontaneous fermentations in open barrels, wooden vats and clay amphorae. Unfiltered and unclarified wine. Aged for 10 monts in used French oak barrels, followed by 8 months of bottle ageing before release
