Bloody Hill is a second label for Yarra Valley cult-winemaker, Timo Mayer. Timo and his son, Rivar, work together on the Bloody Hill wines, selecting the fruit and and working alongside growers that they have built relationships with over many years. In addition, Rivar has added new plantings to the Mayer estate specifically for Bloody Hill, which we're looking forward to seeing at maturity!
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from Yarra Valley, Australia. The fruit comes from twenty seven year old vines from Panton Hill, Yarra Valley
Taste Profile: Crisp, lively pinot noir with succulence and very pretty rose hip tea, rose water, peppery spice going on. It’s so very refreshing, energetic, a light, chillable red feel over pinosity but that isn’t problematic with the drinkability so high, and commitment to fine tannin profile and tension. Light weight done very well
Winemaking Process: The wine was made 20% whole bunch, naturally fermented and aged in old oak puncheons for only six months.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
