Grape Varietals & Region: Sangiovese 90%, Canaiolo Nero e Colorino 10% from vineyards located near the vineyard of Pianottolo in the surrounding areas of San Martino a Quona’s church in the Chianti Rufina area (around 250 meters o.s.l)
Taste Profile: ruby red with purple tones. intense and rich yet fine with red berries and ripe red fruits aromas. medium body, dry with balanced tannins, harmonic and persistent in the palate.
Winemaking Process: Fermentation on skins for about 15 days before one year maturation in French oak casks. The wine is further aged in bottle for 8 months before release
