Emilio Valerio Emilio Valerio Tinto 2019

Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 50% Garnacha Tinta, 20% Tempranillo, 18% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon from various plantings in Dicastillo, a municipality in Navarra, Spain

Taste Profile: On the palate it is fruity with balanced tannins. A long finish. Cherry colour with bright purple hues. On the nose it has black fruit aromas like cherries. A background of herbs (rosemary and thyme).

Winemaking Process: Each variety is vinified separately. The aging of the varieties is also done separately in French oak deposits of 20 and 50 hl and in barrels of 500L, discounting the Tempranillo and Cabernet, which are made together. The ensemble is put together in larger wooden deposits of 50 and 80 hl.

Powerful modern reds with the ability to age. They tend to be very intense, with ripe fruit, firm tannins & drinkability either young or cellared.
