Description

Grappa is a type of Italian brandy that is distilled from the skins, pulp, seeds, and stems left over after winemaking.

This grappa is named after Giacomo Bindi's grandfather, who was a well-known winemaker in the region. It is a premium product that is best enjoyed as a digestif after a meal, served neat or on the rocks. Its smooth and elegant taste profile makes it a perfect accompaniment to rich and creamy desserts, as well as a variety of cheeses.

Grape varietal & region: The Cocco di Bindi Giacomo Grappa De Brunello is made using the pomace of Brunello grapes grown in the Tuscan region of Italy.

Taste profile: The classico style grappa has a crystal-clear appearance and a fragrant, delicate aroma with hints of wildflowers and ripe fruit. On the palate, it is smooth and refined with a clean, crisp finish. This grappa is made using traditional artisanal methods, distilled in copper stills and aged in oak barrels for at least six months. It is a perfect digestif, best served chilled or at room temperature.

The riserva style grappa is aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months, which gives it a deep amber color and complex flavors of vanilla, caramel, and toasted nuts. On the nose, it offers a bouquet of fruity and floral notes, with hints of dried fruit and herbs.
