Hudson Vineyards Phoenix Red Blend 2019
Phoenix is a classic representation of the Hudson Estate. The wine was named after the 2017 wildfires swept through the estate, miraculously avoiding the original buildings from the 1980s.
Grape Varietals & Region: 64% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc. Pheonix is a barrel selection Bordeaux-style blend sourced from multiple vineyard sites on the Hudson ranch.
Taste Profile: This wine showcases enticing aromas of red currant, black cherry, and savoury spice that leads to a plush mouthfeel an structured finish. The Merlot-dominated Pheonix offers a great nose of ripe black cherries, tobacco, chocolate, and damp earth, and it’s medium to full-bodied, ripe, and incredibly polished on the palate
Red The fruit was picked separately by hand at night, hand-sorted, destemmed. Each lot fermented individually untilising native yeast. Barreled in 60% new oak, it was bottled unfiltered & unfined after 23 months of aging.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
