From the same family behind Arachon T.FX.T, one of Austria's most admired Blaufränkisch.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Chardonnay and Grüner Veltliner, from vines growing in the mica slate ("Glimmerschiefer") soils of Burgenland, Austria.
Taste Profile: Fruity, fresh and naturally cloudy. The palate is dry, with the slate soils lending the wine austerity, elegance and saltiness.
Winemaking Process: Selective manual harvest for perfectly ripe fruit, fermented in 500L wooden barrels and aged on fine lees in the same barrels for 6–8 months, then drawn directly into the bottle without filtering.
Winemaker: In 1984 Tibor Szemes took over the family business, recognising early the quality of Central Burgenland's terroir and helping pioneer its négociant model alongside Ing. Josef Pusch of the Horitschon cooperative. Following the deaths of Tibor and his wife, their children Oscar and Anna now run the estate together, shifting focus toward estate vineyards and modernising the portfolio.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
