Century-old, north-facing Grenache vines rooted in pure sand.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% old-vine Grenache from century-old, north-facing vines planted in pure sand in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Rhône Valley, France.
Taste Profile: A generous nose of wild strawberries, puréed raspberries and kirsch infused with violets, rose petal, white pepper, herbes de Provence, orange peel, red liquorice, wet stones and exotic spice. Lush and full-bodied, soft and silky on the palate.
Winemaking Process: Handpicked at optimal maturity, then aged in oak barrels to develop complex flavours with a subtle touch of oak.
Winemaker: Chateau de la Font du Loup has been in the Melia family since 1942, when they bought the estate as growers, selling their harvest to négociants until they began producing their own wine in 1979 under Charles Melia. Today his daughter, Anne-Charlotte Mélia Bachas, runs the estate with her husband Laurent Bachas, bringing organic farming and HVE Level 3 certification to a property whose name — "Fountain of the Wolf" — comes from local folklore about wolves drinking at its springs.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
