Adami Bosco di Gica Prosecco Superiore Brut Valdobbiadene DOCG NV
Crisp, fresh and fruity if drunk young — but built to reward a little patience in the cellar too.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 95–97% Glera and 3–5% Chardonnay, from steeply sloped, south-facing hill vineyards in the Colline del Conegliano Valdobbiadene, Veneto, Italy, at 180–300 metres altitude on mixed morainic, clay and calcareous soils.
Taste Profile: Straw yellow colour with a rich, excellent scent of fruit — yellow apple, peach and notes of wisteria and acacia blossom. Wonderful balance and elegance meet a pleasurably crisp spiciness, with a delicious vein of acidity and a crisp, savoury mouthfeel that lingers generously.
Winemaking Process: Pressed with pneumatic presses and static decantation of the must, then fermented at a controlled 17–19°C with naturally selected yeasts. Refines on noble lees in steel for at least three months before a second, Italian-method (Charmat) fermentation at 15–17°C and cold stabilisation at -4°C.
Winemaker: Adami was founded in 1920 when Abele Adami bought his first vineyard, Vigneto Giardino, in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene — a fresh start after the First World War for a family locally nicknamed 'I Casei.' In 1933 he presented the first single-vineyard Prosecco in Valdobbiadene's history, and the estate is now run by its fourth generation, continuing Abele's instinct for treating individual vineyard sites as worth bottling on their own.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
