A 50/50 partnership between two families, built on a handshake and a shared patch of Santa Barbara dirt.
Grape Varietals & Region: 80% Syrah, 20% Petit Verdot, from vineyards under Ruben Solorzano's care in Santa Barbara, California — part of a 50/50 partnership between the Stolpman and Solorzano families.
Taste Profile: Taut blue and red plums spin seamlessly with a crack of pepper into high-toned, fiery red brightness — a winning combination of freshness and ripe depth.
Winemaking Process: 40% whole-cluster Syrah undergoes carbonic fermentation in sealed tank, 40% destemmed Syrah ferments in traditional open-top vessels, and 20% destemmed Petit Verdot ferments open-top — all in stainless steel. The wine then ages 9 months in 100% neutral oak.
Winemaker: Para Maria is named for Ruben Solorzano, the "Grape Whisperer" who has tended Stolpman's vineyards since 1994 and became a full partner in this bottling — a tribute to the growers who shape Stolpman's fruit as much as the family that owns the land.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
