Domaine Roux Père & Fils Chambolle-Musigny 2023
Chambolle is Burgundy's pretty-faced village, silky, perfumed and a bit seductive, and Roux's 2.2 hectares there get bottled by climat.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from Chambolle-Musigny in the Côte de Nuits, the village known for the most feminine, floral style in the Côte d'Or. The domaine farms about 2.2 hectares across 18 parcels here, with bottlings including Les Athets, Maladières and the premier cru Borniques; this village-level wine may blend parcels.
Taste Profile: Retail notes on the 2023 Chambolle describe a supple texture and a long finish with cherry, floral and spice notes. Pretty and polished. Good with roast chicken, mushrooms or a simple cheese board.
Winemaking Process: Domaine Roux uses oak across its range and is moving towards larger 300 to 500L barrels, with many parcels farmed organically. We couldn't source this cuvée's specific regime.
Winemaker: Brothers Sébastien and Matthieu Roux run the Saint-Aubin family estate, working some 70 hectares and 100+ cuvées, around 65% of which go abroad.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
